The Woman at the Washington Zoo: Writings on Politics, Family, and Fate by Marjorie Williams and Timothy Noah
The Woman at the Washington Zoo: Writings on Politics, Family, and Fate

Sandy, June 22, 2007

This book is not only a fabulous read for the rich history of Washington, D.C. but a look into the writer's struggle with a disease that ultimately took her life. She is able to overcome the fact that she is dying in order to live her life to the fullest for the remaining time left. It is a life lesson that we could all take to heart, for we will all be faced with this reality in life.

Geology in the Field by Robert R Compton
Geology in the Field

If this is anywhere near as clear and concise as the preceding edition, any geology student or others interested in geology should add it to their library.

In the field, the book is invaluable, whether learning to map or revising older maps. The information is easy to understand and the diagrams are well-explained.

Yes, Your Teen Is Crazy! by Michael J Bradley
Yes, Your Teen Is Crazy!

This is an excellent book. I've read quite a few books about parenting teens and this book is the only one to have a solution that is so simple and immediately brings results. It's funny, gives real examples from the authors practice counseling teens and families and from his own experience with his teen. The solutions he provides are all about changing the only person you can change, yourself! The only book you'll need.
