Pulver has a way of immediately drawing you into his world – and holding you prisoner as you go (willingly) into the dark abyss of his imagination. I was captivated by the haunting poetry of his prose. There are few who can write horror in such a way that you become enamored with the beauty – Lovecraft, Chambers, Poe… I will now be adding Pulver to this list.
