Ridley's ability to tell an enthralling and witty story - all based on science - rewards both the reader and the science community. The information contained in this autobiography is masterfully condensed - making it totally digestible for virtually any curious reader interested in what it means to be human - from a genetic perspective. You will devour the book and want more from Ridley. While waiting for the sequel, I have started consuming one of his other books, the Red Queen - which tackles the rather ambiguous rationale of why we have two sexes and why they do the things they do....
