The Crystal Cave: Book One of the Arthurian Saga

Shirley Gilman, September 7, 2011

The Crystal Cave is the first of four books written by Mary Stewart about the magnificent Arthurian Legend. This is a spellbinding suspenseful story of how Merlin helped Arthur become king of all Brittain. The message of Merlin conveys not only the atmosphere of the story's ancient setting but also its significent testimorial to our own time. This book is not just a story of enchantment it is a story of mankind.

Losing Mum and Pup: A Memoir by Christopher Buckley
Losing Mum and Pup: A Memoir

Shirley Gilman, September 3, 2011

This book is excellent. Christopher Buckley has managed to combine the death of his parents and his life with them in a heart felt manner. He has managed to include humor which protrays real life with famous people. They really aren't different from the rest of us. Everyone who has lost family members or will in the future should read this book to achieve better understand the responsibility and love that goes in to caring for the elderly. Mr. Buckley did a great job in telling his story in a most respectful way. I would recommend this book to anyone.
