One of those "I don't want to put it down" books that sucks you in and has you staying up hours past bedtime to finish 1 more chapter...
This is book 6 of the Outlander series, non-traditional historical fiction. Diana is a wonderful and unique writing talent that keeps you coming back for more!

This is the 3rd time I'm reading the series and the Outlandish Companion is a WONDERFUL tool to have! If you miss a day or two reading you can quicky skim the important parts thus, remindimg me often of the details. It shows the struggle and effort the author put forth to create such a magnificient piece of literature (alas the Outlander series is too large to fit into a single bound book. Were it so, I could read it cover to cover!) The companion gives wonderful knowledge of characters (whom you may have forgotten that pop up elsewhere), extensive family trees and where they cross, a fantastic map of the areas involved in the first 4 novels of the series...oh yes, don't forget some of the Gaelic translations...I can only hope the genius behind the series publishes a second companion to follow the remainder of the series.
If you LOVE the books, BUY THE COMPANION!
