Degrees That Matter: Climate Change and the University (Urban and Industrial Environments) by Ann Rappaport
Degrees That Matter: Climate Change and the University (Urban and Industrial Environments)

StudentMartin, May 27, 2009

This book should become an obligatory reading for university leader around the world. I have never seen such a brilliant plan, consisting of all necessary and plenty of supplementary information to concrete sustainable actions in and around the university campus.
I am 20 years old, study at the University College in Maastricht and are currently enrolled in a course in which we are able to research the sustainability level of the university to afterwards advice the university leader which actions to take on in order to become more sustainable.
And then I found this book in our library, which I studied the last 2 month and became very enthusiastic about implementing these measures to make the university really sustainable. With the help of this book, we can actually take a step-by-step approach in achieving this goal.
