Jamie's Food Revolution: Rediscover How to Cook Simple, Delicious, Affordable Meals by Jamie Oliver
Jamie's Food Revolution: Rediscover How to Cook Simple, Delicious, Affordable Meals

Sue Hale Hayes, September 18, 2010

Chef Jamie gave the recipes without the un-necessary fat. The best 'core recipes' to jump and create one's own preferred additions. All in moderation. The chicken and dumplings is better than ANY Southern recipe ever found and prepared! The dumplings are Perfect Every Time. Astonished. No one can quibble about these fantastic recipes. Worth to be in every cook/baker's books of foods.Simply put in a word-Brilliant!

Feast: Food to Celebrate Life by Nigella Lawson
Feast: Food to Celebrate Life

Sue Hale Hayes, July 10, 2009

Ms.Lawson makes true BRITISH cooking fantastic! We have no need to convert from metric to imperial.By weight is more accurate, especially on days with humidity.By the way "marrow" is the centre of a bone, usually found in beef steaks and sorry, osso bucco.Veal shanks.Usually smeared on toast points during meal. All British Chefs and Cooks tomes to Food should not cost more because Americans may not "get it".A glossary works fine.

Talk with Your Mouth Full: The Hearty Boys Cookbook

These two caterers were/are a smash hit on t.v.Love their tips in margins of book. Plus, the common sense that makes one want to slap the forehead gently.Best all around recipes I have found in years.Do not pass this recipe and more cookerybook!Wish they had a second book!!!
