A little known part of the Lincoln presidency, before Camp David we had a summer White House in Washington--The Soldier's Home.
Matthew Pinsker has written a readable and worthy contribution to our understanding of Lincoln, the man and his family, during a time of crisis for our nation.
A must read for both layman and scholar.
