This is a fascinating book that busts many misconceptions about the American West. I started reading it strictly for research purposes, and now I'm finishing it just for myself. If you're an artist, writer or performer, it's worth your time to read what Dr. Sue has to say. She's not just talking at you as a therapist--she's a creative writer herself and knows the artistic process inside and out. Like her regular column on Buzz, Balls & Hype, in this book Dr. Sue cuts right to the heart of issues related to creative struggle and proposes real solutions.
