Sing-And-Read: Fire Truck! by Ivan Ulz
Sing-And-Read: Fire Truck!

Teacher Laura, August 13, 2009

Year after year, the children at our preschool play the song on this CD over and over as they jump up and down and pretend they are firefighters. From the toddler class to the pre-k, this is a favorite. They have worn out several copies of the book.

Ghost Among Us: True Stories of Spirit Encounters by Leslie Rule
Ghost Among Us: True Stories of Spirit Encounters

Teacher Laura, July 20, 2009

The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler
The Gruffalo

Teacher Laura, October 26, 2007

I've been teaching a long time, and I don't know how I missed this one! My pre-k class loved the cleverness and creativity of the brave little mouse, and even a class of first graders were highly entertained by it.

Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

Teacher Laura, February 16, 2007

My preschool students love this book so much, they memorize the words so they can "read" it to themselves. It is always funny no matter how many million times I've read it to them.
