I picked up this book because I wanted to learn more about the honey bee ,not really expecting to be so thoroughly entertained as well as informed. Hattie Ellis is a great writer; I highly recommend this book.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to know more about Iraq; its history, its relationship to other countries in the region, and most importantly who the key players are in the ongoing conflict. Fouad Ajami is able to give a clear picture of the situation in Iraq through his contacts among both the Arabs and the Americans in Iraq including General Petraeus.

Tracy Chevalier brings 18th century London to life through the eyes of a recently arrived family from the country. The sights, sounds, and smells that the author describes paint a picture of what living in Londont at that time must have been like. The inclusion of William Blake as a character is interesting but not really necessary to the action. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a lively and exciting historical read.
