Looking for Alaska by John Green
Looking for Alaska

Tomabob, January 1, 2013

I loved this book. It made me laugh and fall in love and become friends with the characters and cry. It fully entertained me the whole way through and gave me so many little bits to chew over and thoughtfully judge. John Green is an amazingly accomplished writers and Looking for Alaska is one of his best. I absolutely cannot get enough of this book.

Looking for Alaska by John Green
Looking for Alaska

John Green persuaded me to give my heart to these wonderful, charismatic characters, then abused it and stomped all over it, but I loved every minute of it. I love John Green and his books. They make me cry, laugh, and ponder about the mysteries of life. He writes some of the best YA novels out there and Looking for Alaska is no exception- it's one of my favorites.

The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
The Art of Racing in the Rain

Tomabob, November 5, 2012

The insight a dog can add to the world is amazing. I loved seeing how much a dog may be able to see and how they are unable to communicate so much of what they observe. Enzo had a knowledgeable view of the world and wanted so badly to share it with others. I fell in love with Enzo and I cried when the book was finished. I had felt I lost a good counselor in how to see life.

The Truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen
The Truth about Forever

Tomabob, October 4, 2012

This book is a classic YA romance book, giving you friendship, family problems, and (what else?) love. Macy teaches you how to follow your heart, not others, to be happy and to defy expectations. I love this story so much and I have fallen in love with the unique characters.

Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult
Sing You Home

Tomabob, September 16, 2012

I love it!! Picoult manages to face a controversial issue head-on, laying the facts out there, and making you fall in love with the characters and the story. She makes you believe in love, and all that is good. I cannot wait till I have time to read this book again. :)
