Can't wait to get my hands on this one! The most sustainable way to cook is to learn techniques and then apply them to what you have on hand, not to go out and buy a bunch of ingredients you'll never use again to follow a recipe.

I think this book is going to change my eating habits as much as "The Omnivore's Dilemma" did. I got it from the library but I'm going to buy it so I can lend it to my friends and family.
It exposes the corporate-led manipulation of our diet to sell us more food. It's well written and researched, with personal touches that take it beyond preachy or scientific.
