A Dance With Dragons is somewhat of a cliffhanger but keeps the reader looking forward to the next book to come. I wouldn't say it's the best book in the series but it is still very entertaining. Some big things happen in this book but not as big as the first couple in the series. However, the story is much more intriguing than in the 3rd and 4th books.
