This book was a gift... a very bad gift. And I do like fantasy (I'm not weird about it, but it's entertaining) and I live in the NW, where it's set and so it is bit quaint to read about modern meets medieval in neighboring towns. But, it was written terribly and is quite pointless. I wouldn't waste your time, even if you have plenty.

A continuation of the wild healing and philosophies of Daskalos, the Magus of Strovolos. Another good read and a must if you loved the Magus.... There is more of the meaty philosophical discussions between the skeptical author and the master he is shadowing. The ideas are a bit more flushed out plus a lot more examples of the his miraculous healings. Worth the read.

This is a must read for any philosophy buff or anyone searching for greater meaning and not one to shrink from the unimaginable. A rare treat for sure!
