Lily of the Valley Carnie has written a very cool book on Chi Gung. I felt she does an excellent job explaining the differences between building Chi using Wai Dan training (which focuses on muscular effort and movement) and Nei Dan training (which uses mental focus and sensory awareness). I also liked the way her book takes different areas of practice like Physical, Mental, Emotional, or Sensory and explores ways to include Chi awareness in those areas. I found it very helpful to have a variety of examples on how to bring Chi Gung into your life.

A fun and enjoyable collection of short tales about Ganesha, one of the most popular gods in the Hindu pantheon. The author, Uma Krishnaswami, does a good job collecting stories that show the many sides of Ganesha, his humor, his playfulness, his wisdom.
