I believe that this is a wonderful book for teens. The occasional profanity is typical in most middle and high schools, and this book teaches many life lessons. Kids need to learn to be confident and strong in a world that tells them otherwise, and this book communicates this message very effectively. Shallow evaluations and restricting censorship by a parent are the worst things a parent can try to do for their child. Kids must be free to form their own conclusions and learn to evaluate this world for themselves.
