Don Winslow's best book to date which is saying a lot. Do yourself a favor and block out a day or two and settle in for a gret read. Highly recommended.

Lark and Termite by Jayne Anne Phillips

A wonderful novel by an accomplished writer. Set in West Virginia and Korea during the 1950's. Do yourself a favor and buy a first printing of this book which certainly is going to become a collectible. If you don't believe me simply read the blurbs on the back from a trio of heavyweights - Alice Munro, Junot Diaz and Tim O'Brien.

Outstanding debut by a writer to watch. These diverse stories are exceptionally well written leaving the reader anxiously awaiting the next work by Mr. Nam Le.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski

Outstanding first work of fiction set in northern Wisconsin. The main protagoninst is a mute boy who makes for the wilds with a group of canine companions. One of the most moving works of fiction I've read this year. Do yourself a favor and escape into this wonderful book.
