This is a great book for anyone with a love of history, specifically England's history. As a sequel, it definitely lives up to the standards of Harkness' first book and might even surpass it. The novel is populated with an incredibly rich array of real-life historical figures, and it is a lot of fun to try and make all the historical connections as you are pulled into Harkness' intriguing fictional world. A must read for anyone who as read the first and for anyone who has been to Oxford or London.
