I saw the author speak at Netroots Nation, had never heard of him before. Wow, this guy is inspirational and impressive. He has such good ideas - I wish I had taken more notes in his talk. I can't wait to read this book!
Two things I did write down: he said we have to learn to "hold" each other accountable, rather than beat each other accountable, a line I intend to use. Also, talking about the right wing's use of "family values - he said our family values are that each member of the family has value.
