The writer assumes that the Lord was a terrorist and used a sword to slay the Romans in order to free the people of Israel from the Romans.. The Coming of the Lord was to free mankind from the bondage of Sin not to free a certain people from their bondage of an alien empire. Even the people of Israel did not grasp it, even not today. Therefore they handed Him over to the Occupier to have executed, which the Romans did. Therefore are all tribes of Isreal dispersed all over the world and nearly killed in WW2...
No mr.verhoeven stick better to his movie making instead of writing utterly nonsense.
