This a special book written compellingly from an autobiographical perspective about the scars of a hard childhood but also the love this person has to give. This is a very good effort for a social worker to write about her own history authentically. It made me cry, actually weep and I found it meaningful. It was the best book for me of 2010 because so much emotion came up for me. Lots to think about in this little book. Great job.
