It is said to write what you know and THAT is what she does...I was immediately struck by and engaged with such vivid details from her memories as a young child through her teen years...her experiences,emotions,coping mechanisms and insights about living with mental illness is interesting and educational to say the least...a roller coaster comes to mind;an extreme one!...definitely a page turner...left me wanting to read more...
