A First-Rate Madness: Uncovering the Links Between Leadership and Mental Illness by Nassir Ghaemi
A First-Rate Madness: Uncovering the Links Between Leadership and Mental Illness

asimpson621, January 1, 2012

I ranked this book at a five because it has been months since I read it and it still is making me look at things differently. The entire concept of mentally ill or healthy. Do we need people who a little "crazy" to change the world or to progress? I kept wanting to disagree with his premise and then finding I had to look at my own biases. A question about artist and madness came up in conversation and I thought about this book. It's not a curl up by the fireplace kind of novel, it is however intriguing.
