I bought this for my husband when we had our first baby and ended up using it myself. It is hilarious! And actually quite useful. The binder like kind is better because it has places to fill in information for each checkup and sleep/eating charts and stuff. This one doesn't seem to have that. Just looked it up - you need the "baby owner's maintenance log" isbn: 1-931686-35-4
