Possibly the best YA book of 2012.

Solitary Tales #02: Gravestone by Travis Thrasher
Solitary Tales #02: Gravestone

berek, January 1, 2012

I read the book and also listened to the unabridged version on CD. You won't get much out of either unless you read/listened to the first book in the series, Solitary. Travis Thrasher is halfway through one of the more intriguing YA series out there. Combine young love, true evil and dysfunctional family dynamics and toss in a double dash of vintage Twin Peaks and you get the idea. While the series has been branded by many as 'Christian fiction,' Don't let that label put you off. Everything Travis has written thus far, whether it be for teens or adults, has real grit and feeling in it. This book and its predecessor are urban fantasy for the thinking teen (and adult.)
