Leni Zumas's writing crackles. Her books are sharp, bleak, funny, and possibly dangerous. When her collection of short stories, Farewell Navigator,...

Laura Whitcomb delivers everything you could ever want in a book to this one. Even though some of the views on religion were a bit overstretched with the characters and their actions, it was still a thriller that I couldn't put down. James and Helen are two lost souls that have been destined to walk the earth, haunting hosts and places. Winding up coming together through a certain twist of fate, this couple enchants you with glimpses of their pasts and times of witty humour. This book leads to a suspenseful ending with no disappointment.

Stephanie Meyer is extremely talented, and this book just about boasts it all. Twilight is an amazing book, filled with suspense and romance, that leads to an ending that leaves you breathlessly awaiting the sequal. I've reread this book about 30 times (I'm not exaggerating), and I'm still not bored of it. Twilight has been on my top book list since it came out, and still no book has been able to top it. I've given this book out to my best friends, and everytime one of them gave it back to me, I got the same response: "I wish IIII was a vampire! Why can't Edward be real?" This book is truly stunning. Go buy it :D

Once again, Stephanie Meyer has amazed me with her writing talent. Twilight has been on my number one book spot ever since I picked it up, and not yet has any other book been able to top it. Now with the release of New Moon, she's created another masterpiece. This book was filled with so much emotion I felt that it was real. I actually cried when Edward left Bella. I was a little disappointed that he didn't come back for the 400 pages, but when Alice came into the book again it was all made up for. I was so excited to have him come back into the story line I was actually flipping ahead to see if I could see his name anywhere. Also, the way Meyer describes the feelings Bella has when Edward leaves her is amazingly precise. It was almost if it was actually happening to me, like you could feel exactly what Bella was feeling. The ending leaves you satisfied, but in a way that you're still counting down the days until the sequal for New Moon comes out. These books will go down in history, they're masterpieces all in their own.

This book is honestly AMAZING. My favourite book of all time - none have yet even closely compared. It was so romantic, and the fact that it's not like normal people in it as well. Edward, omigod, I fell in LOVE with him. I made some of my friends read it, and they all came back with the same response, "I wish I was a vampire! I want Edward so bad." It was well written with a lot of colourful language which was helpful instead of boring vocabulary. I also liked how she described Edward to a point where you knew he was handsome, just you could imagine him yourself still a little bit. I still haven't quite put a face on him. Everyone, go and buy this book NOW! This is the only book I've ever reread more than three times. I've probably spent 5 afternoons rereading it already.. it's amazing. I'm so excited for the sequal, coming out October 2006. EVERYBODY GO BUY IT! :D _xo

i thought this was a pretty good book.. at the beginning i was thinking there was only going to be a few murders, with the regular "gun shot" kind of thing. it turned out to be a really good book, one that keeps you thinking. i'm still not so sure about the ending - i'm not quite sure i understand it yet. i thought it would've ended better without the last chapter, but i guess maybe that's because i don't quite understand it. all in all, i think it combined the best "genres" altogether - romance, horror, mystery. very nice.
