Pretty good book. Has good bits of humor in it. The main character is highly likeable. It's a good crime mystery.

In a Dark Place: The Story of a True Haunting

blue_rose, August 12, 2007

This is one of the scariest books ever written, and one of only two that have actually scared me. It's a hard to find rarity, but if you can buy it and you're into horror, you should check it out.

Blaze by Stephen King as Richard Bachman
Blaze

blue_rose, August 12, 2007

A great King novel that you'll "blaze" through. It is both a good homage to John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men as well as a good double story of its own. Recommended to King fans and those that are new to him alike.

The author is 97 years old and this is his first published book. This intrigued me so I read it. It was a very good book. It's a true story about his early life. It's a touching memoir, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good story.

Candles Burning: A Novel by Tabitha King and Michael McDowell
Candles Burning: A Novel

Candles Burning is a great book - a very fast read and hard to put down. If you like ghost stories or mysteries, I highly recommend this title as it is a good blend of the two.
