A great, simple to understand book. The book takes place during the era of the dust bowl and tells of a story between two friends who are trying to survive in a world where loneliness takes the place of friendship. Though the book is small, it tells an amazing and powerful story that everyone can relate to.

This book is a slow read. The character's actions are very predictable and there are very few surprises. It tends to be overly thorough with descriptions, spending at times 2 pages just to describe what the grass looks like. Overall, this book reads like an off again and on again relationship, sometimes you want to read and the other times you would just rather go and find a new book to read.
in this book, audrey niffenegger tells one of the best stories of love. it'll have you addicted from the start. fascinated by henry's time traveling and wishing it never could happen. in this untraditional story about love, audrey niffenegger really puts the meaning to a bittersweet ending.
