This book easily makes the stand for a classic of our times, and this is why: twelve stories masterly told -because the reading flows so naturally that it seems at times that someone else is reading them to you- you will be amazed by the times in which you feel imbued into each story by the skillful and detailed story-telling of Garcia Marquez. You will effortlessly flip page after page and find yourself craving for more. This engaging process of eager reading that you'll find into once you've started the first tale is mainly due to the ease that Marquez has building stories, setting stages and creating environments and, above all, well-defined character personalities. There is hardly any word that doesn'tn fit in the stories as they unfold -many times in no chronological order, many others as remembrances of past events. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
