This is a great, down-to-earth cookbook that has helped me to save a lot of money over the last month. These recipes are easy and quick - and the ingredients are all cheap staples and fresh fruits & vegetables, not expensive specialty items you can only find at Whole Foods. All in all, it's a fantastic cookbook, especially for the price. The only downside is that there are no pictures of any of the dishes. This isn't a dealbreaker for me (The Joy of Cooking doesn't have pictures, after all), but if you're more of a visual learner, you might want to look for another cookbook.
