This is an excellent read aloud. The illustrations are wonderful with the use of thick black lines, and the color choices reflect the season being pictured. An excellent picture book!

Excellent. I couldn't put it down! It was very thoughtful and well written.I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed The Giver by Lois Lowry or the Shadow Children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix.
