I won't speak for others, but this book should be required reading for every white person living in North America. So many times in my discussions with others about the book, they have told me that the problem is that Native Americans haven't been forced to work hard enough for what they want. The ignorance of these statements has convinced me that they need the kind of radical reeducation that only Vine Deloria can offer.
