First I'd like to give props to Mr. Powell's for this entertaining but yet so true book. Once I opened the book I just could'nt put it down, it's really a page turner. The story was very detailed and captivating. It brought you inside and it made you feel like you were right there with each character living out their lives with them and watching everything first-hand. I'm from Louisiana and it's just funny how the same things go on but just in different places. I appreciate how Mr. Powell's gave it to us raw and uncut, plain and simple he gave it to us real. I look forward to reading more of your novels and I anticipate a movie or short film for this novel, it truly deserves one, I just know it will be even more gansta than the book, not to sound so ghetto but that's just what it is "gansta" and I loved every bit of it. I even got my boyfriend interested enough to read it and he's not a big reader, he finds everything boring or unrealistic. Congratulations on your success.
