This version of sugar paste work is the easiest I've found to follow. All the designs shown in the book are included in the templates and all the templates are actual sizes. I found that in similar books this was not the case.
The directions are easy to follow and there is plenty of room to expand personal creativity using these ideas. Overall, I think this is a very good book for anyone beginning to decorate cakes or at any level of decorating ability.
Techniques for dipping chocolate ganache and handling various forms of "set" ganache is very helpful to the amatuer. I also enjoyed all the information given about working with chocolates that have a higher cocoa content.
I felt that he wasn't giving away any secrets and I had some unanswered questions which I will have to discover the answers to on my own.
The background of the creation of the chocolate factory and the photos are a nice touch.
