Having read the other Bancroft books, Why Does He DO That, I feel eager to take in the new knowledge about how abuse affects children. Lundy seems to have lived in an abused mother's shoes and does not make that a place of shame, but a place of bravery in the midst of love and pain. Now he wants to save the children, so anyone who cares about the kids can find the time and courage to learn of the healing balm he provides for them and for us as a modern-day people.
