I'm a big fan of Jeff Vandermeer's fiction, so I was really excited to pick this one up. The book contains some terrific advice for writers on how to navigate the quickly evolving world of publishing.
He talks about how a writer can maintain a public self through various means such as social networking, and how they can still get their word count to steadily climb in private. His ideas and inspirations are interesting and made me think about how I approach my own writing.
