Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood
Cat's Eye

carver, October 9, 2009

I have vastly enjoyed every book Margaret Atwood has ever written. However Cat's Eye was also nostalgic for me because I was born the same year Margaret Atwood was born. Even though she is from Canada and I from Oklahoma it was amazing to me how much our childhood's seemed the same. This book is absolutely true for curly haired girls born in 1939!

I Don't Believe in Atheists by Chris Hedges
I Don't Believe in Atheists

carver, March 12, 2008

I claim to be a Unitarian but rarely attend church services. Once in awhile I go to an Episcopal service with my husband. Unitarian's are said to believe in the fatherhood of God, the brotherhood of Man and the neighborhood of Boston. Since Chris Hedges attended Harvard I assume some of his opinions might be derived from Unitarians, am I right?
