Baa-Choo! (I Can Read Books: Level 1) by Sarah Weeks
Baa-Choo! (I Can Read Books: Level 1)

cathypmiller, November 16, 2006

The book has it all: rhythm, rhyme and repetition. Although it's written for beginning readers, it's a great read aloud for any age, from the sequencing of the lamb's friends as they help him out to the surprise ending which engages higher level thinking skills. I recommend this book for preschool centers and at home reading with young children. It's my current favorite read aloud as the Literacy Ambassador.
