I have all of Ina Garten's cookbooks and they are my first choice when I need to make a dish that always is a crowd pleaser. This new book is no exception, it has many unique and delightful dishes. It is a keeper in my kitchen.

The Maytrees by Annie Dillard

Annie Dillard ranks as one of my favorite authors. Her new novel reminds me of a modern day Ethan Frome. Very moving, very thought provoking.
