I love this book. I can feel the enthusiasm of the author's love for the city of Portland and his love for books. There's nothing like a book that's written by an author with sincerity for the material. It's right on. I'm recommending this book to so many people, because it makes that PERFECT gift for those who you know you're supposed to buy gifts for but you don't know what to get. This is that gift. It's well-researched and thorough, and at the same time it touches your heart to the core, especially if you and others really love Portland, books, bookstores, libraries, and places to read that are so cool that you'll look a million times Portland-native after reading it.
