Harry Potter #4: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter #4: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Great book. This is my absolute favorite series, and when this book came out I loved the series even more! This book gets a little darker, and the characters are growing up and getting a little angry at times.

From start to end this book keeps you interested! There is always something happening.

Highly recommended.

Others I like: Twilight series, Blue Bloods series, and the Uglies series.

I enjoyed this book so much more than the first!
I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out in the fall.

It was so much more interesting than the first, and it right from the start it was exciting.

Others I recommend: Uglies series, Twilight series, and Blueblood series.

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
A Great and Terrible Beauty

chelee33, May 1, 2008

This story takes place in the early 1900's. Basically, a girl finds out she has magic powers and she explores it with her friends during boarding school. They start sneaking out at night and having secret meetings.
I liked this story and I am looking forward to reading the next book. I was a little bored at some points, but mostly I was scared, excited and teary eyed!

Others I recommend: Uglies series, Blue Bloods, Twilight series

Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Peeps

Good book. I love Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series, so I thought I would check this out. I did not enjoy it as much as the Uglies, but I did like it.

The vampires in this story are a little more dirty and creepy than most of the other vampire books. Unlike other vampires, the "virus" tranfers through fluids and not just through a bite.

I will read the next book in this series.

Others I recommend: The Uglies series, the Twilight series, the City of Ashes series, and Blue Bloods series.

Beastly by Alex Flinn
Beastly

So, this book is another take on the Beauty and the Beast. I didn't feel a connection to the characters and it was a little slow at some points.

I almost stopped reading it, but decided to finish it. I'm glad I did. I don't recommend the book, but its a quick read if you have nothin else.

Others I recommend: The Twilight series, the Uglies series, and the Blue Bloods series. Oh, and the City of Ashes series.
