Jurassic Park remade into an amusement park thriller.
Fairly predictable at times, this book was a typical thriller with a unique setting. The amusement park world was very well crafted and unique in every aspect. The characters were just typical and made for the part they played. The story line was interesting but not captivating. A nice read for those who enjoy suspense but not new surprises.

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

I wish I could tell the author what an amazing job she did and that I'm so glad she didn't give up. This book is about Henrietta and her family but it's also a tale of society, science and struggle. It is incredible how far we have come as a society and how far we still have to go. I'm glad that Henrietta Lacks is finally getting some of the credit she deserves and I hope millions of other people get a chance to read this book. (Thanks Colbert for introducing it to me!)

Very entertaining series. If you enjoy vampire stories at all you will enjoy this series. The writing style is very first person and you feel like you're inside their heads and watching their emotions firsthand.
