this book was aimed more toward childen around the age of 10 years old, therefore, i found the characters to be very lively and exiting. i'm thirteen, and even i enjoyed this book. this book reflected louis sachar's hard work, and effort. he put thought, detail, and feeling into this book. the moral of this book was very easy to understand, which is nice for kids of 10 and younger. i give this book two thumbs way up. louis sachar definately knows how to grab young reader's attention.
