What a pop-up Book! From a single house on the first page to a spectacular city on the last page. It's like a time lapse movie. It's amazing!

Red Sings from Treetops: A Year in Colors by Joyce Sidman
Red Sings from Treetops: A Year in Colors

colourwings, September 1, 2011

This is a beautiful book. Joyce Sidman is a wonderful writer, but I especially like the illustrations by Pamela Zagarensky. No wonder it was a 2010 Caldecott Honor Award book! Please visit to Joyce Sidman webpage and read about this book. joycesidman.com/ redsings.html And then visit blaine.org seven impossible things /?p=1707 and see some of Pamela Zagarensky's amazing illustrations.

Seven Realms (Trilogy) #02: Exiled Queen, the (a Seven Realms Novel)

A fantastic book 2 in the trilogy. I can't wait for the final book. However, one should read the first book to fully appreciate it. I think this is better than her Wizard Heir Triology which was pretty great.
