If you read one book this year, make it be this!
I was told to read this book before I vote this year and, whoa, they were right! With an easy, entertaining style, the author shows what labor has done to help our economy and where it is now failing (jobs are leaving the country and the leftovers aren't that hot) and it gives good ideas on how we can improve things starting with improving our unions.
I am a rank and file guy and I found this book very inspirational. Both my congressman and my union management are going to hear from me.
