Love it! I finished this in 2 days because I couldn't put down except to work and sleep. I liked the fact that book continued to circle back and let us know what had occured why the "main characters" were on their quest/adventure/mission. I liked knowing who/what had occured and learning who was living and who wasn't. Short lived characters were very well done and when they passed you really felt bad for the team.
I think that some might compare this to Stephen King's The Stand but IMHO it is much better and doesn't ramble on like The Stand seemed to do. It is a new take on the Vampire genere but one that seems to be very good and I hope that the 2nd book lives up to the first.
