Mo writes about two best friends, Gerald (the Elephant) and Piggy. Gerald is having a very bad day and Piggy decides he will cheer him up. Piggy dresses up as Gerald’s favorite things in hopes to make him happy. (For example he dresses up as a cowboy, robot and a clown).
This is one of my favorite books by Mo Willems. Yet again he has shown expression in the most minimal way. Gerald and Piggy are hilarious! Everybody wants to have a friend like Piggy. I have read this book to numerous people and so far everyone has laughed out loud. The first time I read it I laughed out loud in the store, I just had to buy it! I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone, young or old.
