Author Synopsis
NASA Scientist Roger Daly realized his life’s work, creating a man-made wormhole that shot him through space to a treacherous, unknown planet. Now, Roger finds himself abandoned and all alone in a strange new world. The planet turns out to be an intergalactic crossroads for wormholes.
There he embarks on an epic journey where he encounters various beasts and meets a band of misfit travelers who lead him to a human civilization, and possibly a way home. However, Roger soon learns that he is headed for a battle for supremacy between the natives, their former leaders, and the dictator, Magnus. He is shocked to discover that Magnus and this utopia he has built look all too familiar.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Roger’s son Bill stumbles on information that leads him to believe that his father is still somewhere out there, alive. As he seeks answers, he alerts and angers some very powerful people. Ultimately, Bill finds himself on his own terrifying journey to locate his father, who is a world apart.
