A suprisingly good action thriller for a first-time author. Thomas Greanias manages to put a mystical spin on the time-honored action-adventure novel that causes the reader to wonder about future world-shattering events and how they relate to historical cataclysms of the past. Along the way he introduces three larger than life, yet very human protagonists; people that draw the readers in, then set them up for one humongous rollercoaster ride to the edge of "First Time" and maybe the end of the world as we know it.
